Books & other resources

Books are one of my favorite things on the planet. They are a form of travel within themselves and help transform our understanding of the world and possibility. I especially love books that are written well; language is a powerful art form that can open up new perspectives and change lives.

Here are books I find particularly informative, transformative, and delicious. Their subjects support the work I do leading travel, and encouraging people, especially women, through my journaling workshops to reconnect with themselves and live more satisfying lives.
 

I also believe that supporting local independent bookstores is essential to keeping the art of writing and storytelling alive. Bookshop.org is an online independent bookstore that pays authors more fairly than Amazon and proceeds from their sales also support independent bookstores around the country.
