WRITING WORKSHOP

In Fall in Love with Poetry, our super fun and meaningful poetry writing workshop, you will play with words, deliberately choosing those that are the right ones to express your intention and capture the essence of your emotion. You’ll create the perfect structure to carefully place them in. And they will combine to tell beautiful and powerful stories. 

You’ll look at both traditional and modern forms of poetry, collect gems along the way that will continue to inspire you, and practice writing your own art pieces in these forms. You’ll also explore other short forms of storytelling, from vignettes to flash fiction, and try those as well. 

This is supportive workshop is perfect for poets of all levels. It is a smorgasbord of inspiration and includes in person prompts, readings, and helpful feedback. You’ll share ideas and collaborate as you build connections with a community of like-minded writers who understand your love for poetry. As a result you’ll discover techniques to unlock your unique poetic voice and express your emotions and ideas effectively. 

In just six weeks you’ll have a notebook full of original poetic pieces, and the inspiration to continue making poetry writing a regular practice in your life.
